According to TMZ, his name is Charlie and he is a Portuguese Water Dog bred in a Texas kennel. Sasha Obama has dog allergies so this dog breed is bred to not aggravate that. The pup actually comes from the same lineage as the Kennedy’s Water Dogs. The First Pup will have a grand homecoming at the White House on Tuesday.
